Media Release: NSW Women of the Year Awards 2025 nominations now open

MEMBER for Northern Tablelands Brendan Moylan MP is encouraging people to make a nomination for the NSW Women of the Year Awards 2025, with nominations now open.

Mr Moylan said the awards are an opportunity to recognise outstanding women in our local communities.

“If you know a woman who is inspiring and remarkable, who has achieved great things for our region, I encourage you to make a nomination,” Mr Moylan said.

“For NSW Women of the Year, the 5 award categories include:

• Premier’s NSW Woman of Excellence
• NSW Aboriginal Woman of the Year
• NSW Community Hero
• NSW Regional Woman of the Year
• NSW Young Woman of the Year

“Nominations have also opened for the Ones to Watch category which recognises exemplary girls between the ages of 7 and 15.

“It is a terrific opportunity to recognise and celebrate women and girls who inspire us with their actions.

“The NSW Women of the Year Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 6 March 2025 as part of the NSW Women’s Week 2025.”

Mr Moylan said that nominations are open until 11:59pm on 15th September.
