Media Release: Nominate an outstanding senior for Local Achievement Awards

Tuesday, 28 January 2025

People from the Northern Tablelands can recognise an outstanding older person in their community with nominations for the 2025 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Awards now open.

Member for Northern Tablelands Brendan Moylan said the awards celebrate the valuable and important contributions seniors make in their community.

“We are very lucky to have so many seniors in our community who are generous with their time and energy,” he said.

“If you know a senior who makes our community a better place through their substantial involvement in the community, now is the time to put them forward to recognise their efforts.”

The awards are part of the NSW Seniors Festival which runs from 3 March 2025 until 16 March 2025.

Nominations for Local Achievement Awards can be made by completing the nomination form and returning to the Armidale or Moree electorate offices.

The form is available online at brendanmoylan.com.au or collect a printed copy from the Armidale or Moree electorate offices.

Nominations close on 28 February 2025 and recipients will be announced during the NSW Seniors Festival.
