The much-anticipated Legal Aid Seniors Diary will return for 2025 and Member for Northern Tablelands, Brendan Moylan, is encouraging seniors across the region to secure their copy.
The popular publication – available from Friday, 29 November – is packed with information on avoiding scams, goods and services, driving and fines, Elder abuse, money and Centrelink, and much more.
Mr Moylan said it is a very useful source of information for seniors across the Northern Tablelands and they are available from his Armidale and Moree electorate offices.
“The Seniors Diary is an important resource which advises seniors about their legal rights, and where to go to seek help,” Mr Moylan said.
“For example, it provides information on how to avoid potentially costly scams, how to set up Wills and where to access advice if they are experiencing discrimination or abuse.
“I encourage seniors across the Northern Tablelands to get in touch with our Armidale or Moree office to obtain a copy of the Seniors Diary.”
The 2025 Seniors Diary cover design is by Jasmine Sarin, a proud Kamilaroi and Jerrinja woman from NSW. The story behind the artwork is central to our Elders, our old people who hold knowledge of our culture and family history.
The diaries also feature a calendar and have important dates marked out.
They are free but there is a limit to two per household.
