The 2026 NSW Women’s Week is underway, and Member for Northern Tablelands Brendan Moylan has announced Armidale’s Kay Endres has been named the Northern Tablelands Woman of the Year.

NSW Women’s Week showcases the remarkable stories and accomplishments of women and girls from a wide range of backgrounds across the state.

Mr Moylan said Ms Endres is very deserving of the accolade with continued commitment and dedication to a range of fields.

“Kay is a proud fourth-generation Armidale local who not only serves the community as a councillor but is a huge contributor to local charity organisations,” he said.

“She was a founding member and is the current chair of Tour de Rocks which has raised more than $2.5 million for cancer research.
