As your local member, I have the opportunity to recognise, congratulate and thank individuals or groups within our community in a one minute statement every Parliamentary sitting day.
These are known as Community Recognition Statements and they acknowledge people or community groups, recognise charity work, retirement or honours and awards, or express words of thanks or condolences.
They are recorded in the Hansard of that day.
